Beady Eyes

Beady Eyes

I’m not the only one in the family with an obsession.  Mine is Lego and a few years ago, Kris and I went to BrickFest at the Pasadena Convention Center.

Kris’ passion is beads and she’s working on some jewelry designs for the Gallifrey One art show.  So yesterday we went down to the Pasadena Bead and Design show  https://www.beadanddesign.com/shows/pasadena.php   held at… well, what do you know?  The Pasadena Convention Center.

Garden of Beadin’ was giving away free tickets if you just went to their website  https://www.gardenofbeadin.com/  All it cost us was $15.00 for parking – which at a convention center is a great price.

But… here is where we go broke.

One Kris + one credit card + one convention room full of beads = 0 cash.

And I was not going to pay $4.50 for a can of soda, either.

We did have a lot of fun.  Kris shot some videos which she will be putting together.  There are a bunch of Star Wars references.  And with me driving, there was a lot of:
“Are we there yet?”
“No, m’ Lady”
“Home, Parker.”
“Yes, m’ Lady.”
Now I want a chauffer’s hat like Parker from the Thunderbirds.

And a pink Rolls Royce.

That might take a while.

I’ll put in a link to the video when it’s done.
