We Interrupt This Blog to Bring You This Convention

Hey all, Kristine here. Dennis is taking Memorial Day weekend off to recover from life, the universe and everything that has been beating him up lately (I’m looking at YOU, work!). The month of May has been a non-stop rush-fest of something going on every weekend with no downtime for either of us, but since I’m a stay-at-home, work-at-home jewelry design now, I am in much better shape to do his blog than his over-worked, over-scheduled brain at the moment, so here I am.

We realize we should have led with this blog LAST week before Comic Con Revolution Ontario, but that’s how busy we were…no time to even throw a link up here before taking off for So. Cal’s Inland Empire. Also, the archive link had not dropped yet for this interview. So let me back up a bit.

I was contacted at the beginning of May by a member of CCRO’s staff who had seen my review of last year’s event. We hurriedly put together the conversation and connections necessary for one of the convention’s co-founder’s, Drew Seldin, to do a Zoom interview with myself and Gene Turnbow, the Station Manager of scifi.radio. Gene is a long-time friend of both Dennis and myself and was happy to give this fairly new local Comic Convention a shot at speaking to his fannish listening audience.
