What a Weekend I’m Having

What a Weekend I’m Having

Yesterday I got a lot of errands done, which was good because the last two weekends were crazy busy with the men’s breakfast, woman’s breakfast and critique group meeting.

But then…

We were going out to our favorite 7-11 (they have Mountain Dew Slurpees) when we got sideswiped by a car on Rinaldi up in Porter Ranch.  He pulled up in front of us and Kris went out to talk to the driver.  He indicated he was going to pull over to a side street so we could exchange information.  But as Kris came back to our car, the light turned green and he took straight off.  And in the darkness, I lost him.

So, it was a hit-and-run, but I got a picture of his license plate just in case he tried to pull something – which he did.  We gave the information to the police department as we made the hit-and-run report, and reported it our insurance agent.

The driver broke off our driver’s side rear view mirror and scraped the driver’s side doors.

Now we’re just waiting for Monday to see what happens with the insurance and the police report.

I also caught a head cold.  I’m not going to work tomorrow in this rain feeling like this.
