SPOON!!!!!

SPOON!!!!!

This is Yogurtland in Chatsworth on Nordhoff near DeSoto.

Kris is getting more mobile, so we went there for frozen yogurt yesterday.  It is one of Kris’s favorite hangouts.  She loves to go there during the week, get some yogurt, sit and write.  She’s written many chapters of her books there (You can find them on https://whocate.info ).  For me, it’s too noisy.  Even the Muzak is too distracting.  I just want quiet when I write.

They have self-serve yogurt, usually ten or twelve flavors at a time and tons of different toppings.  I had pumpkin and cheesecake.

The pumpkin is new for the season.  We went yesterday because it was Giant Spoon Day.  They do this a couple of times a year.  You can really shovel it down your throat with one of these things.

We’re adding to our collection.  Kris asked me why we need so many giant spoons.  I told her because when the apocalypse comes, we’ll be the only ones left with giant spoons and we will be able to trade them for gas, food and clean water.

It pays to think ahead.
