Kicking it up a Notch
One of my goals for the year was to try a new recipe each month. So far, I’ve tried three. From the above picture, you can see my new meatloaf recipe already has a fan. Well, two fans. My wife liked it as well. This one showed up on Facebook from Eating on a Dime. Here are the video and recipe: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?ref=saved&v=718436579100027 https://selfproclaimedfoodie.com/grannys-classic-meatloaf-recipe/?fbclid=IwAR167j1rXWIQtdtsp2qivu-mOefVd5qUxYmOdwkBlwWGNl0cr2k6LyxroRE
I love collecting meatloaf recipes. Meatloaf is like the plain brown wrapper of dinners, but there are so many different ways to make it.
The week before I tried two recipes that go well together. Chicken Rice Soup and Garlic Bread Cheese Sticks.

The chicken soup came from Brown Eyed Baker on Facebook and the Cheese Sticks from Eating on a Dime. The cheese sticks are stupid easy. Instead of string cheese, I cut my own cheese sticks from a block of Mozzarella. The two together were great on a rainy day.
Bon appetite!
