Mad Scientist Time
I try a lot of new recipes, but I don’t often come up with one of my own. I was inspired by a friend’s recipe, so I created my own version of…
TACO BURGERS!!!!!
First, I needed some ground beef, so I got a ten-pound slug from Smart & Final. I cut off a pound and froze the rest.
And then, I added some more ingredients to make it Mexican. Here’s my recipe:
TACO BURGERS:
1 lb. ground beef
½ cup chopped onions
1 packed taco seasoning – I like Old El Paso Hot and Spicy
Burger buns
Taco sauce for topping
Sharp cheddar for topping.
Two of three splashes of Tabasco Sauce
Mixing the first three ingredients, I made four patties and fried the up in a stove-top grill.
Put them on buns and topped them with taco sauce and cheese. So, what was the result? Why don’t you take it from here, Vincent?
“For a first try, these came out a success, having the flavor of a taco in a bun. The pairing with Mac & Cheese with Rotel was also a good choice. Kris has already claimed this to be one of her favorites. I lean towards Dennis’ opinion. While good, it could use a little kick. Next time two of three splashes of Tabasco sauce. That will give it a nice kick like Dennis’ Hot and Spicy Turkey Meatballs – which he uses ground beef to make” – Vincent Reinhart.
This makes the third addition to my burger recipes:
Best Ever Burgers
Oklahoma Burgers
Taco Burgers
Next, I’ll be trying Smash Burgers.

I got this nice letter from the American Red Cross thanking me for my five donations last year. It would have been six except I had anemia for three months.
I’m a hero for babies because I’m CMV negative. Cytomegalovirus is a virus that many people carry. It’s harmless in adults, but it can kill an infant. That’s why my blood is special – aside from being O-, the universal doner.
I think I’ll get the Bento Box.
