The Farmers Market
Last weekend, we went back to The Grove to see “Minions and Monsters”. Funny movie with a lot of homages to silent movies. But that’s not what I’m here to talk about.
Afterwards, we went next door to the The Farmers Market. For those of you who didn’t grow up in Los Angeles, this is a famous landmark on 3rd and Fairfax. We went there for an early dinner with several members of the U.S.S. Angeles, our Star Trek Fan club.

But the real reason I wanted to go to The Farmers Market was for this store, Light My Fire!
They have thousand of hot sauces, hot salts, barbeque sauces and salsas.
There is a lot to try. Although, they didn’t have my favorite, Cayucos Hot Sauce. I’ll be coming back to try some, but right now I have too many at home, like…
In a different store, I also found some fruit syrups…
I like putting fruit syrups on my yogurt in the morning, and these are two flavors I haven’t seen in a long time. Apparently Smuckers and Knotts don’t make fruit syrups anymore.
We’ll be going back with a couple of empty shopping baskets some day soon.
