Merry Christmas, Everyone

Merry Christmas, Everyone

This week I’m just hoping that everyone had a Merry Christmas.  I did, starting with a lot of baking.

And Kris was my quality control supervisor.

Last week, Vincent had already reviewed my new cookie recipe.

We also had a lot of activities at my Church, Calvary Bible Church, in Burbank.  https://www.calvarybiblechurch.org/

We had our Christmas concert on the 13th and 14th.

That was followed by a cookie reception each night.

Our Fellowship Group (some still call it our Sunday School) also had a pot luck.  Lots and lots of great food.

We also had a trivia contest.  Did you know that the zip code of the North Pole is officially 88888?

And at work, the owners bought us lunch.

And we also celebrated Hanukkah.

Christmas day was a joy and relaxing.  I took a week off earlier in the month and it wasn’t as relaxing.  I had many things to do such as meet with a lawyer, go to the DMV to register the car I just bought and a follow-up appointment with my doctor for a dog bite I had two weeks previously.  December wasn’t the best month for me.  I was grateful for a real day off.

Next week I will review my goals for 2025, then set my goals for 2026.  May we all have a prosperous New Year.

While at Kaiser, I saw this on the wall.  What is it?  A defibrillator station?  I don’t recognize this piece of medical equipment.
